Phoenix Players will be offering a mentorship program for those interested in acquiring and developing directorial skills. 

Under this program,you will be working on directing a play for Phoenix Players under the tutelage of an experienced director. This "on the job" training will have you involved in all aspects of directing including the development of the concept, script and character analysis, set design, planning for sound and light effects, auditions and cast selection, and the production of the play. 

As part of the training you will be exposed to a number of tools, and tricks of the trade. In  implementing this program, it is the goal of Phoenix Players to create a resource of directors who will then be available to take on and lead future productions. 

This program will start with one candidate for the Fall 2017 Phoenix Players production. No previous directing experience is required to participate in this program.
